Greylock Sweater

Inspired by a scenic hike on Mount Greylock, northwest Massachusetts, this design combines two of my favourite features: colourwork and texture. The colours and patterns are reminiscent of the vibrant yellow and green meadows at the mountains initial incline. To add interest between the colourwork bands, a textured effect is created by using a mix of knit and purl stitches. One main colour and three contrast colours are used within this all-over colour and texture effect design.
