Part of my ‘Scout’ series, this mini shawl is a joyful project for colourwork lovers. Its patchwork effect is created through a combination of stranded colourwork and intarsia knitting, worked seamlessly throughout. For this version, the motifs and layout are inspired by graphic tiles: bands of bold patterning are sliced together and set against larger areas of finer, smaller-scale designs, creating a rhythmic, architectural feel. Worked sideways from tip to tip, this petite triangular shawl is versatile, modern, and full of visual interest.

This kit includes all the yarn needed to create the Tile Scout Mini Shawl, plus a download code for the PDF pattern. 

The original yarn is used for this kit, the beautiful Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh (100% superwash Merino, fingering weight, 385m / 421 yds).
